Physician and health administrator with a passion for building equitable, inclusive, and just
global health systems. Blind since adulthood. Navigates the world using assistive technologies
such as JAWS, NVDA, Voiceover, and Android Talkback—tools that fuel both my accessibility
advocacy and my innovation mindset. For over 8 years, have been deeply engaged in the study and strategic application of blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), and decentralized science
(DeSci) to address health inequities in the world to produce global health. I believe the future of
global health lies not only in medicine or policy—but in economic justice, distributive justice,
and structural justice—powered by ethical innovation. Through my work at the Actuate
Foundation, I provide consulting services to organizations, governments, and social ventures
that want to use blockchain to improve health access, financing, quality, and biomedical
discovery. I’m also founder of Actuate Academy, where I teach people how to apply
decentralized tools to create lasting health impact in underserved communities, particularly in
Africa. My experience spans health system leadership, academic instruction, e-learning design,
and international health architecture. I have served as an advisor to global architecture and
health design bodies.
