As the Founder and CTO of Circular Protocol , a revolutionary 4th generation blockchain stack that is
designed to increase performance of DApp processing. Tailored for the medtech industry, it’s
evolved into a layer 1 infrastructure capable of also GameFi and DeFi. As an academic, Gianluca
obtained his postdoctoral fellowship in Medical Simulation at the Massachusetts General
Hospital and Harvard Medical School. As an engineering executive, his expertise extends to
high-performance computing for companies scaling up $3M to $50M in valuation. His versatile
skills includes Software Architecture, Hardware Development, Prototyping, and Project
Management, R&D leadership, and software development, shaping the technologies that drive progress. Current interests include Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Simulation, Computer
Vision, AI/ML, Robotics, and Blockchain/Web 3.0 technologies. I’ve developed custom
Blockchain systems and architecture.
